...making memories (my Thanksgiving post).
Thanksgiving was yesterday, I spent the day with family. We ate, laughed, and enjoyed watching the nieces and nephews play. I spent some of Kate's nap time editing these pictures from a couple of weeks ago. It was my goal to post them yesterday as my Thanksgiving post, but it didn't work out. On one of the last warm Fall days we spent the afternoon at our local park. I love enjoying the seasons with my family and Fall is such a gorgeous season. I am thankful that my children get to experience the changing seasons. When it comes to listing things I'm thankful for I think the list could go on and on. I am blessed beyond my imagination. At the top of my list is always my family and my community of close friends. I can not imagine living this life without them. To my husband and to my children, I would like to say thank you for loving me and for accepting me with my faults and all. Happy Thanksgiving!

...apple picking in the Fall.
I can't believe it's almost the end of November. The last month has flown by and that could be because I don't think I've ever been so busy. It seems like my life has been a juggling act these last couple of months. It's a constant struggle to keep all of the balls in the air and so hard to decide when it's ok to drop one. With Thanksgiving only a couple of days away I really wanted to post my Fall pictures. First, a few from our annual trip to the apple orchard with more Fall posts to come in the next week.
I love our apple picking tradition. We have gone every year since Eli's was born. That first year he was a couple of weeks old and in a sling on my chest. Now he's riding on his father's shoulders and picking his own apples. As busy as life can be I think it is so important to keep our traditions and to document them with pictures. This is one ball I just won't drop.
