Stories can be powerful. A story has the power to speak into someone's life so much more than a paltry piece of advice. Listening to someone's story is a dynamic, and compelling experience. It is a gift to both the teller and the listener. When you sit with someone in their sorrow and in their joy it validates where they've been, and I believe bonds you together to fight for a better future. I had the opportunity to listen to a piece of the story of Amber and Kyle and I was inspired. It's an incredible story of love and redemption. I am honored to have had the opportunity to photograph these two during this phase of their journey. I believe that their story is manifested in these images and is a true reflection of what love is.
